ReStage is a nationwide resource for the stage and screen sectors, dedicated to the creation of a robust and enduring circular economy for theatre and film sets.

Context

Initiated by founding partners at the GLA and the National Theatre, the project was in its early stages when Zetteler and TEMPLO successfully won a joint bid to turn the preliminary concept into a viable brand reality.

Collectively we began a process of research and exploration, engaging key stakeholders to establish the core aims, audiences and deliverables of the new platform to build our brief.

Approach

The ReStage name and its circular-economy mission gave us the creative starting point for the visual identity. At the heart of the ReStage logo is the infinity symbol, which serves as the S and the infinite loop of a zero-waste economy. Enhanced by a highly distinctive colour palette of pink, red and black, the versatile brand comes to life in print and online.

ReStage successfully launched in 2024 and is now in its second phase that includes an evolving platform that now combines a national network of set-reuse hubs with an R&D programme researching and supporting low-and no-carbon modular set construction.

Creating a robust and enduring circular economy brand for theatre and film.
